BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art
Baltic Art Gallery, Newcastle, has an excellent library and archive facility, particularly for contemporary artists. Resources include books, catalogues, magazines, DVDs, audio and interviews with artists who have exhibited at the gallery.
British Cartoon Archive
The BCA is a national collection of socio-political cartoons from British newspapers and magazines, plus comic strips, newspaper cuttings, books and magazines.
The online catalogue contains over 150,000 cartoons either held at the BCA or by other institutions. Often you can see various versions of the same cartoon from the sketch to the artwork to the various published versions. The cataloguing includes subject terms and identifies the people depicted in the cartoons.
BFI InView is a searchable, comprehensive catalogue of 2,000 non-fiction film and television titles from the 20th century to the early 21st century, organised under six main themes.

Television & Radio Index for Learning & Teaching (TRILT)
TRILT is a searchable database for television and radio broadcasts. Staff and students can request a programme which has been aired or will be aired at a future date (terrestrial channels only). Library staff will place an order through the BUFVC (British Universities Film and Video Council) which will then be added to library stock. Access is via the 'Sign in' (top right). In the 'Where are you from' box type Cleveland College of Art and Design and this will take you to the database.
